My Main 10 questions: ( all natural photos- no editing)

1) What are the best ways to get a picture of elders.

2) How do you show happiness? ( with no person in the image)

3) How do you show sad with no person in the image?

4) How can I take a photo of the sun in the background without it changing the lighting in the image?

5) What is the best way to capture and entire area without closing in one subject?

6) How can I show isolation inside a person in a crowded room?

7) How can I use the 'distance to subject' to my advantage ?

Since I have been fortunate enough to arrive here while a professional photography group was passing by, I took advantage of my oppurtunity by collecting good resources. During this precious time, I was able to communicate with photographers such as Douglas Beasley and Dennis Hendricks. With my time with them, I was able to listen to their life stories that supported their passion for photography. Another person that could give me information would be Ms. Li Ping here in the Linden Center.

I plan on sharing my photos with a huge variety of people. With each picture, come a story, and I feel as though my 'story-telling' time is limited, which is fine. To fix this, I plan on constructing a website that contains not only my photos, but a small subtext for each, explaining what I learned taking those set of photos. I will also being putting together a quick movie of the photos together.

About This Learner

Hi! I am currently a high school student at SAS Puxi, and a Microcampus Alumni. I wanted to participate in Microcampus since I had always stayed near home, and wanted an adventure. The trip was a fun experience as I was able to meet people from all over China. I would love to help any current/future Microcampus student with any questions they have!
