Day 22: Burning Up

Well, today was a pretty boring day for me. Since early this morning, at around 12 am, I was moved to go sleep in the nurse room. I had my temperature checked, which resulted in finding out that I was sick with a fever. All day the only activity that I have participated in is sleeping. Sleep, sleep, and more sleep. Once in a while someone would check in and give me updates on what was happening, or  get equipment and comfort food. I just took my temperature again and my fever is gone, which is good news. However I still must stay here, away from my normal routine, in order to make sure that I stay healthy and fever-free. At least it is better to stay safe than sorry. More rest and water and I will be healthy and out of here in no time!

Hey, my name is Nicole and I am currently 13 years old. I was born in San Francisco, California and my parents are from Taiwan. Throughout my life I have moved 5 times so I am a pretty social butterfly. Leadership and taking risks are things that I feel confident at. Photography, dance, and swimming are my hobbies and passion. I had a very delightful time exploring new cultures on my microcampus experience in XiZhou and will miss it deeply!
