Day 19: 2nd Trip to Dali Old Town

Currently I am stuffed wtih food from our trip to Dali Old Town. These included pizza, pasta, mint cookies and cream pie, passion fruit tea, and strawberries covered in this sugar coating. It was all very delicious and I am glad that we were able to go back. This time, we walked around with our study groups to get to know them better and step outside of our comfort zones. Near the end of our trip, Benji took us to this road filled with little stands selling kebabs. Thomas, who was suprisingly still hungry after already eating a giant meal, bought around 20 kebabs and fell in love after his first bite. Catherine ate a few too, however she chose not to put spicy powder on hers.  The bus ride back was less crowded since we were 4 people short, which also meant we had a larger amount of options to choose from for our possible arrival times. Unfortunately I was one minute behind our arrival time, and Marissa won the challenge again for the 3rd time in a row. I am already excited for our next trip back to Dali Old Town!

Hey, my name is Nicole and I am currently 13 years old. I was born in San Francisco, California and my parents are from Taiwan. Throughout my life I have moved 5 times so I am a pretty social butterfly. Leadership and taking risks are things that I feel confident at. Photography, dance, and swimming are my hobbies and passion. I had a very delightful time exploring new cultures on my microcampus experience in XiZhou and will miss it deeply!
